The household has been a subject in art for centuries. This series draws attention to the everyday household activities we often perform almost unconsciously. Such as  loading and unloading the dishwasher. It presents an orderly home, one that appears pleasant and evokes a sense of clarity.

The top-down camera perspective lends the photographs a clinical, classic and cool quality, somewhat detached from emotions. Yet a household should never be perfectly pristine: the dishwasher is not entirely clean. These small imperfections in the arrangements make the photographs feel more human an relatable.
